BBQ Ribs for All
Ingredients:
1 rack of Baby Back Ribs (membranes removed and cut into 4 sections)
1 cup of our Pandemic BBQ Sauce
3 cloves of garlic
1 cup of beef broth
1 tbsp of sea salt
Non stick cooking spray (I prefer Avocado cooking oil)
Charcoal or pellets for bbq (depending on what bbq you have)
Special tools: Either an Instant Pot, electric pressure cooker, or slow cooker
Instructions:
Rinse and pat dry your ribs. Remove the membranes if they haven’t been previously removed. Cut into 4 sections.
In an instant pot or electric pressure cooker. Put rack in the bottom. Add beef broth, garlic, and ribs. Add 2 tbsp of bbq sauce to the pot to help flavor the meat. Cook at high pressure for 30 mins. Natural release for 10 mins.
(If you only have a slow cooker. Prepare the same way, only cook at high temp for 8 hours)
Crank up the grill! Get Temperature to 450. Spray your racks with oil (step back when you do this if you want to keep your eyebrows) Brush ribs thick with bbq sauce and put on grill. Cook on grill until bbq sauce as candied/crystalized on the ribs. Make sure the underside of your ribs don’t burn by moving ribs to cooler spots on your grill while cooking if they start looking crispy.
This should be a relatively quick grill as the ribs are already fully cooked, you are essentially putting them on the grill for flavor and to crystalize the bbq sauce.
let rest for 5-10 mins. Serve with a side of bbq sauce.
