Pandemic BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
1/3 cup of hot water
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1/4 cup of good quality honey
1/4 cup of white wine vinegar
3-4 dashes of hot sauce (tabasco, cholula, whatever you prefer)
2 tbsp dijon mustard
3/4 cup of ketchup
Instructions:
In a small/medium sauce pan over low/medium heat dissolve brown sugar and salt into your hot water.
Add honey and mix until dissolved.
Add pepper, white wine vinegar, hot sauce, mustard, and ketchup. whisk until completely incorporated.
Increase the temperature to medium high heat and stir vigorously until desired thickness achieved.
Store in a squeezable sauce bottle for easy use as a condiment.
Will last up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
