Ingredients:

1 lb of wild caught salmon (silver or chinook is preferred)*

2 Tbsp melted Salted Butter

3 Thin slices of lemon

Cracked black pepper

*Salmon is ALL ABOUT QUALITY. You can’t out cook a bad piece of salmon. It’s ok to purchase frozen as long as it was flash frozen at the time it was caught which is how most fish is now transported and sold. The best salmon I've had has been simple recipes with a good piece of fish. I’ve also completely screwed up a great piece of fish by cooking it poorly. But no matter what recipe you go by- always start with a quality piece of fish.

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

In a lightly oiled baking dish, set your fish skin side down. pour butter over the top covering the entire filet.

Add three slices of lemon over the top of the fish and freshly crack pepper over the top.

Bake uncovered for 15-30 mins depending on how thick your salmon is.
